Accademia Gallery ticket prices 2026 at a glance
Since 1 February 2026 admission to the Galleria dell'Accademia costs €20, up from €16. The reservation adds €4, so an adult pays €24. No second online surcharge applies. The currency throughout this page is the euro.
One ticket covers the whole museum: Michelangelo's David in the Tribuna, the Prisoners, the plaster models, the paintings and the instruments. There is no separate ticket for the David alone.

Combination tickets and the Firenze Card
Choose by what else you plan to see.
| Ticket | Price | Valid for | Covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accademia only | €24 with reservation | One visit | The Accademia |
| Accademia and Bargello | €26 | 48 hours | Both museums |
| GAMB pass | €38, plus €4 reservation | 72 hours | Accademia, Bargello, Medici Chapels, Orsanmichele, Palazzo Davanzati |
| Firenze Card | €85 | 72 hours from first use | The Accademia, with a free reservation |
The two-museum ticket and the GAMB pass have existed since 15 March 2026. The GAMB pass also covers Casa Martelli, which is closed for works until 31 December 2026, and it does not include the Uffizi. The Accademia and Bargello combination at €26 is below the €32 that the two admissions cost separately, before reservation fees. The Firenze Card needs a free reservation for the Accademia, subject to availability. The card alone does not guarantee entry, so reserve your slot by phone through Firenze Musei on +39 055 294883.
For most visitors who come for the David, the single ticket at €24 is enough. Add the Bargello combination if you plan to see Michelangelo's other sculpture, and consider the GAMB pass only if you will visit three or more of its museums within three days.
How to reserve your time slot
A reservation is strongly recommended. Without one, longer waits are possible. Only one online channel is authorised by the Ministry of Culture, so start from the museum's own ticket page when you buy directly. You can also reserve by phone through Firenze Musei.
- Names on tickets: a ticket that carries a name is matched against ID at the entrance. Corrections are limited, and tickets cannot be passed on freely.
- Reduced and free entry: show the document that proves your age or status. Children under 18 need proof of age.
- Last entry: 40 minutes before closing, normally 18:10, so a late slot leaves little time. Regular hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 08:15 to 18:50. See the opening hours.
Free days in 2026
Entry is free on the first Sunday of the month and on 4 November 2026, without a reservation. Check the museum's calendar before you plan around a free day, as dates can change.
Resellers and packages
Packages that bundle admission with a guide or a transfer are allowed, but the museum's rules require that admission and guide are shown separately. They also forbid misleading skip-the-line or special-access advertising, and sellers must not present themselves as the museum. Look at what the price includes before you pay. See Accademia Gallery tours for guided options.

Adding the Uffizi
The Uffizi sell their own tickets: €25 on the day and €29 if you buy before the day of the visit. An adult who pays full price for the advance Uffizi ticket and the reserved Accademia ticket pays €53 in total. That is simply the sum of two separate products, with no shared slot. Read the Uffizi and Accademia page to plan both, and find more about the gallery in the guide to the Uffizi.
